Top Social Apps Performance in Greece for Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top social apps in Greece demonstrated varied performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's an overview of the trends for each app.

TikTok from TikTok Pte. Ltd. showed a fluctuating weekly revenue pattern, starting at approximately $272K in early July and peaking at $314K by mid-September. Weekly downloads ranged from 26K to 45K, with the highest spike occurring in mid-August. Active users, on the other hand, saw a gradual decline from around 1.49M to 1.42M over the quarter.

Threads, a product of Instagram, recorded no revenue during this period. However, it experienced a steady increase in downloads, climbing from 21K to 36K by mid-August. The app's active user base also grew consistently, reaching 88K by early September before settling at 85K by the quarter's end.

Instagram saw its weekly revenue fluctuate between $9K and $15K, with a notable peak in early August. Download numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 14K to 23K. The active user count was robust, maintaining a level of over 3M throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc. recorded modest revenue figures, peaking at $5.6K in early September. Download trends showed a gradual decline from 17K in early August to 12K by the end of September. Active users remained strong, consistently above 5.3M, despite a slight decrease towards the quarter's end.

Finally, Reddit demonstrated minimal revenue, with a peak of $145 in early July. Download numbers showed a downward trend, starting at 5.5K and dropping to 3.2K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, the app's active user base grew, reaching 163K in early September before stabilizing around 157K.
